We are recruiting 6 Home Energy Officers at various locations across Wales.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified people who are highly motivated to tackle fuel poverty and improve the warmth and well-being of older people living in cold homes.
Employed by one of our local Care & Repair Agencies in Wales, but working across a designated region, the successful candidate will be part of a pioneering, Wales-wide project to reduce fuel poverty and increase home energy efficiency for older homeowners aged 70+.

You will have a good understanding of housing and home energy efficiency with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to improving older people’s lives. Your day to day work will be to provide comprehensive, specialist advice and technical support to older people who are in or at risk of fuel poverty. This will include home visiting and working with local organisations.
You will work closely with Care & Repair Caseworkers and Technical Officers throughout the region to enhance the support provided to Care & Repair clients locally. You will champion the fuel poverty cause with local and regional stakeholders, and make a key contribution to the success of the 70+ Cymru team nationally.
Contract Term: 2 year fixed term contract

- North Wales (full time)
- Bridgend, Cardiff, Vale and Cwm Taf (full time)
