Summary:
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Youth Welfare Officer in Swansea to be part of the Migrant Help funded UK Youth Welfare Officer Project. The Officers will provide a stable point of contact for young people seeking asylum aged 18 -25 living in Home Office Initial Accommodation, including those given an age of 18+ but who claim to be children, supporting them to access social and emotional support, and services and to understand systems and processes. You will be joining a team working on an exciting range of Projects providing a holistic approach to giving young Asylum Seekers and Refugees the support, knowledge and skills they need to build resilience and thrive.

Type of contract: Temporary until June 2026
Location: Home Based with hot desk facilities in Swansea
Salary: £23500 pro rata
Hours: 24 hours per week
