About Us:
We are an exciting organisation working in partnership with Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB and a range of other partners in the third and statutory sector, establishing itself as a core element of the depression treatment pathway through the provision of well-being courses. Practitioners will also take an active role in promoting the service at events and in supporting the development of the organisation.

Valleys Steps is seeking to appoint a professional, enthusiastic and motivated Well-being Practitioner to deliver a programme of emotional/mental well-being courses to students and learners, other young people and families alongside provision to adults in the community programme. Core provision will include delivery of 6 week mindfulness, resilience and stress management courses. We are looking for applications for a full-time Practitioner working 37.5 hours per week.
More and more people are struggling with their mental health and wellbeing. Our growing service seeks to work collaboratively with community based organisations as well as students/learners and college staff in the delivery of psycho-educational programmes. Other work will also include providing interventions to young people in schools as well as family based workshops. Our Community Wellbeing Programme has seen in excess of 21,000 individual attendees since 2016. This post will play a significant role in contributing towards one of the largest psychoeducational programmes in Wales. The Psychoeducational courses use a variety of interventions from CBT, Mindfulness and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. Delivery will include both face to face and online provision.
