A new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to join our Swansea Teams.
Gofal is a leading third sector provider based in Wales providing a range of mental health services. We are a charity motivated and inspired by seeing people making progress within their lives; we work positively to empower people with the confidence, resilience, hope and self-awareness to manage their mental health and take positive steps forward.
We know that people with mental health problems can and do live fulfilled lives. This is why we exist and continue to work towards our vision of ‘Good mental health and wellbeing for all’.
Each year we work with over two thousand people supporting each of them to effectively manage their mental health and make long-lasting changes in the areas of their lives that are currently not working for them. Our ‘whole-person’ philosophy to recovery underpins all our services and projects, which are grouped into the following areas: Crisis Intervention; Home and Family Support; Skills, Learning and Employment; Community Wellbeing.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to take the lead in managing floating and tenancy support services to people experiencing mental health issues. These services provide support to vulnerable people in their own homes(including those at risk of homelessness) to maintain their individual health and wellbeing, manage their tenancy appropriately and live as independently as possible through the provision of housing related services.
The Service Manager will hold responsibility for the day-to-day management, service impact, quality, compliance and financial performance of the service, together with a key focus on continuous improvement and development.
You will lead team of workers providing recovery focussed, compassionate, dynamic mental health and housing related support.
