Summary:

We offer an exciting new role to boost fair work in the foundational economy.  You will liaise with employers, workers and trades to find new ways of improving jobs.

About Us:

The Bevan Foundation is Wales’ most innovative and influential think tank. We develop solutions to poverty and inequality and inspire action.

We believe Wales should be a nation of equality, justice and prosperity, a nation where everyone has a decent standard of living, a healthy and fulfilling life, and a voice in the decisions that affect them.  Instead, a shocking number of people’s lives are blighted by inequality, injustice and poverty, with little hope of change.

We are independent, are not aligned with any political party and do not receive government funding.   We rely on the generosity of our donors to make a difference.

Job Role:

You will build working relationships with employers, trades unions and workers across Wales to increase understanding of the drivers of low pay and poor conditions, and develop new approaches to making work fair.

You’ll have an in-depth understanding of the economy and labour market and an ability to develop innovative solutions.  You’ll have superb co-ordination skills, and be able to engage with and influence a wide spectrum of people and organisations.
