We are currently looking to recruit for a Domestic Abuse Key Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Domestic Abuse Service in Carmarthen that values strengths based approaches in supporting its clients.
We are a Carmarthen based Specialist Domestic Abuse Service Charity with a clear focus on supporting women, men and children affected by domestic abuse. We help those affected to become survivors and assist along the whole journey.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an appropriate support and key working service, responding to the emotional, practical and developmental needs of women men, and children living in across Carmarthen who have previously, or are presently, suffering from domestic abuse.
Using a strengths based approach the postholder will enable service users to make informed choices and positive changes to their lives, to minimise risk and enhance their future. Using self-help principle to encourage independence and empower the service user to succeed on all levels.
The successful candidate is required to participate in the organisation’s 24 hour on-call rotas.
