This is an exciting opportunity to join Llamau and Monmouthshire County Council as we develop a Supported Lodgings Scheme for the residents of Monmouthshire.

About Us:

Our Vision and Mission

Ending Homelessness, Changing Futures

Many people think the job of a homelessness charity will be to provide accommodation – a safe place to stay.

But it is very clear to us that for most people who are facing homelessness, their problems are far more complex than a lack of permanent shelter.

That’s why we treat everyone who needs our support as an individual.  We recognise their unique strengths and needs and make sure that they are supported to rebuild their futures.

We are a values-led organisation which puts the people we support at the heart of the organisation.  Our values mean that we can offer the highest quality support and empathy.  Our values are:

We Respect

We Listen

We Encourage

We Learn

We Don’t Give Up

Job Role:

Your role will be to recruit and support host placements across the county and, with your guidance, accommodate people aged 16 years old and over within their homes: providing a safe and nurturing environment.  You will also support the people who have been placed to improve their emotional well-being and life skills.
