Summary:
The Service Manager (Dyfed Drug and Alcohol Service) responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations and lead in the delivery of an integrated service.
- Provision of leadership to DDAS and steering strategic direction and developments.
- Ensure DDAS is delivered in line with the service specification and developments are effectively communicated to stakeholders.

Key details/responsibilities:
- Managing the day-to-day operations and lead in the delivery of an integrated service.
- Provision of leadership to DDAS and steering strategic direction and developments.
- Ensure DDAS is delivered in line with the service specification and developments are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
- Lead in delivering the Welsh Government’s Delivery Plan in the locality by planning and providing high quality, innovative care which reflects our person-centred values and the high levels of ambition we have for the recovery of the individuals for whom we provide support.
- Communicate DDAS’ vision and deliver its mission, corporate strategy and business plans.
- Contribute to the safety of communities from drug related crime and negative impacts on health services and provide opportunities for employment, training, education and pro-social activities to aid and sustain recovery Involve appropriate individuals and partners in the planning of the individuals’ aftercare and promote service user involvement and co-production in service delivery.
- Ensure appropriate safeguarding and data protection principles are adhered in working practice.
- Inspire and enthuse individuals to maintain positive lifestyle changes.
- Lead on innovation and progression of the service in line with trends and changing landscape.
Additional Information:
Location: Covering all of Dyfed. Office base – to be decided.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: Starting at £38,075 per annum
Duration: Fixed term until 31st March 2025 (Internal and consortium secondments to be considered)
