Summary:
At South Riverside Community Development Centre (SRCDC) there has been an acute awareness of the needs of older people within all the communities that we serve, around the provision of advocacy, support and access to relevant opportunities for improving health wellbeing through beneficial activities (including arts, culture and physical activity etc).
About Us:
SRCDC is a registered charity with a Memorandum of Association, established for the purpose of benefiting the communities in the Riverside, Canton and Grangetown areas.
SRCDC aims to:
Advance the education of the public in matters related to mental, physical, cultural, and social welfare;
relieve poverty.
Job Role:
In response to this we have secured funding from ’Global Make Some Noise’ to develop a two-year project (funded until March 31st 2026) within the community to address these needs in the lives of older people. To help us deliver this we are recruiting into an exciting new role.

Hours: 17.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,000 pro rata
