About Us:

Training Team Leader

Disability Can Do is an independent, user-led charity. We support disabled adults and carers to break down the barriers, big and small, that restrict their life choices and opportunities. Our services enable people to live the life they choose.

Job Role:

You might be a successful trainer ready for the next step up or an experienced team leader looking for a new and worthwhile challenge.

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to lead our training team delivering an employability project working with people with disabilities.

The project supports adults with disabilities to develop their skills and confidence, explore new opportunities, find employment and support them in their new role. You will be responsible for the project targets, budget, delivery plan, partnerships, and the project team.

We are looking for someone with a track record of successful training delivery. Someone who can inspire their team and work in partnership with employers and agencies. An individual who can add real value to our service delivery and wants the best for the individuals the project supports.

Additional Information:

Contract:  This is a Fixed Term 2.5 years post with continuation subject to funding.

Location:  This post will be located at the Disability Can Do Centre, Blackwood, however delivery of the training programme will be across Gwent.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 8th September 2022.
