Summary:

We are looking to recruit a HR officer who shares our ideals of empowerment, transparency and giving people a voice.

About Us:

HR Officer

Advocacy Support Cymru (ASC) is a registered charity with offices in Llandarcy and Cardiff. We provide Independent Mental Health and Mental Capacity Advocacy Services across most of South Wales, employing 46 employees.

Independent advocacy is important. It seeks to give a voice to people who can’t make themselves heard. Advocacy helps to ensure that people are as involved as they can be in the things that affect them and are able to communicate their needs and wishes to others who may have influence or power over their lives. HR Officer

With 20 years of experience, ASC is a trusted and respected advocacy service that repeatedly delivers invaluable advocacy to those in mental health need. We have a large team of experienced advocates, a senior management team and invaluable support staff, enabling us to provide advocacy across much of South Wales.

Job Role:

The successful candidate will report to the Director, and will be responsible for providing a generalist HR function. In addition, the HR Officer will provide support in the running of payroll, and will have the ability to run payroll in the absence of the Finance and Admin Manager. Therefore, previous experience of working with Sage Payroll would be a distinct advantage

Additional Information:

As ASC is a multi-site Charity, it is essential that the post holder holds a full Driving Licence, and is willing to travel within our area of operation.
