• To provide face to face therapeutic intervention and support to young people seeking help to tackle their drug and alcohol use, using the range of models and methods that have been agreed for use within CAVDAS.
• The successful applicant will deliver services in line with Welsh Government Treatment Frameworks, NICE guidance (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence), and other relevant professional standards and legislation. CAVDAS staff are expected to follow Operational Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring that the care and treatment provided is safe, undertaken to a high standard and informed by up-to-date, evidence-based practice.
Our aim is to support anyone who is ready to change and to make a difference to their own lives or the lives of others.
This means providing high-quality, free and confidential support and guidance to anyone who is affected by drug or alcohol use, either their own or someone else’s; and raising awareness about the ways we can all help to reduce the harm caused by substance misuse.

Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £30,900 – £32,960 per annum
Duration: Permanent, in line with funding
