Fundraising for our work in Wales is critical and this new position will play a central role in growing income for the charity.
Bowel cancer is a major public health concern in Wales, being the third most commonly diagnosed cancer – at a level which is higher than most countries in the developed world. Bowel Cancer UK is determined to address this by enabling and supporting pioneering research, raising awareness of the disease, and campaigning for better treatment and care for all affected by the disease.
You will be an experienced fundraising professional, with an impressive track record of managing & delivering challenge events, organising and supporting community fundraising activities and experience of winning and developing successful corporate partnerships, ready to take a leading role which will help to shape the future of Bowel Cancer UK in Wales. You will be a naturally persuasive, confident networker with excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to put innovative ideas into practice to ultimately ensure that we are helping improve the lives of those affected by
