Homeless Complex Needs Worker (Street-Smarts Project)

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to provide Complex Needs Support to homeless and vulnerably housed individuals to help reduce rough sleeping in the RCT area.

About Us:

Adref is a registered charity and limited company devoted to eradicating homelessness in the South Wales Valleys.  We have been in existence since 1990 and manage a range of support services that help people develop skills that will avoid them becoming homeless and accommodation for people that do not have housing.

Job Role:

The successful applicant will have experience of providing support to a challenging client group, with at least two years’ experience of working in the mental health and / or substance misuse field.  Applicants should also have an understanding of the issues around homelessness and empathy for the client group. The ability to prioritise and manage a caseload is crucial as are good administration, negotiation and record keeping skills.  Access to a car and a full driving licence are essential.
