Business and Performance Manager
We are seeking to appoint a Business and Performance Manager to strengthen the organisation in fulfilling it’s finance and performance requirements, whilst assisting the development and support within the staffing team.

Valleys Steps is a local organisation offering free, open access, self help courses in Stress Control and Mindfulness to help people better understand and manage their feelings in order to improve their wellbeing. Courses are available throughout Rhondda Cynon Taff and Merthyr Tydfil.
Having achieved a successful pilot, Valleys Steps has been tasked with providing those experiencing low-level anxiety and depression, with a genuine preventative alternative to prescription medication or referral to primary care or mental health services.
Main Purpose of the Job
– To deliver and develop the business functions of the organisation including;
performance management, HR, procurement and finance.
– To prepare relevant information in response to external enquiries
appertaining to the business of the organization.
– To contribute to effective partnerships and contracts with partner
organizations and other stakeholders in the promotion and provision of
– To develop a fundraising strategy and to identify and deliver fundraising
opportunities including grant applications from funders.
– To line manage the Finance and Volunteer Support Officer, Communications
Support, Data Collection Administrator, and freelance staff as required.
